The Fine-Grade Skeleton Rock Bucket is perfect for loading rock, tilling soil prior to planting, sifting debris from dirt or sand, and more! The implement is compatible with John Deere loaders with a hook and pin connection. The open design allows dirt to fall through the bottom, making it easier to quickly sift out rocks and debris. The front cutting edge includes bolt-on bucket teeth, excellent for digging hard dirt, gravel, and sand. The deep-well rock dam features thick tines spaced 4-inches apart, allowing dirt to fall through while keeping rocks in place. The sides feature a welded-on reinforced cutting edge providing optimum strength when lifting heavier loads. Made to last, this Skeleton Rock Bucket is just what you need on the job site to separate rocks and bulky material when sifting soil, sand, and other minerals.

John Deere 4720 was used with a 72" Fine Grade Skeleton Rock Bucket -- worked as expected.

I have a JD 3032 that’s been incredible! Our property literally has THOUSANDS of Boulders and rocks. So when I “Logged”it, I had no idea what a mess I was left with! I researched what attachments were available and within my price. I’ve only just begun, but having used this on my front loader is amazing! I keep a scrape blade on the back to catch anything I missed. I bought the 6’ bucket instead of the 5’ for more collection, but didn’t think about the added stress on the little machine… it’s working so far, with obviously stressing the machine’s hydraulics. Over all…. I rate it a 10 out of 10!

This thing works great. Built well and will last a very long time under the use I expect to give it. Arrived well in the welded cage/crate, though it did take longer than expected. However when the guy did show up with it he unloaded before I even got out to him and was ready with a pallet jack to get it where I asked for it to be set down. The only negative, is that is too heavy for a 4720 John Deere tractor 60+ horse motor) in the 72" wide version. I would recommend a max. 60" wide bucket for the 4000 series, which, unfortunately is a bit too narrow for the tractor. It works great for sifting the sawdust out of your wood, or for sifting rocks out of fields or lawns being made. It will not get the gravel out of your dirt, but it will get the gravel and bark out of your wood, or your stones out of the field. If you want to remove gravel from sand, then you want a sifter. Also to set expectations: This does not work as efficiently as a skid loader would, due to the lack of "bounce" that you get from a tractor (one of the advantages to a tractor over a skid loader), but if you are bouncing through a field with a bucket of wood or rocks, then by the time you get to where you are going, most of the fines have already been sifted out.
