The Standard Series Root Debris Rake is ideal for land prep in industries like forestry, construction, agriculture, and more and is compatible with skid steers and tractors up to 70 HP. Equipped with thick steel tines, it clears small roots and brush and allows loose dirt to be sifted through when moving bulkier objects - perfect for removing logs, brush, roots, scrap material, and other awkward debris. Or roll brush, silage, and more into piles for easy burning. This attachment features a universal SSQA mounting system for quick installation and a bolt-on kickstand for upright storage.
NOTE: The Standard Series Debris Rake is designed for collecting light debris off the surface or a few inches below ground.

“My skid steer has a hinged door that swings out to allow ingress and egress. When I attached the rake to the skid steer, I could not open the door to get out and lift the kickstands up. This also creates a safety issue because if I were to need to exit the cab in an emergency, I would have to remove the rake before being able to open the door. In the event of a hydraulic hose rupture or engine failure, I would be trapped in the cab until I could dislodge the door to get out. I would think that someone in customer service would have heard about this issue from other skid steer owners. The return shipping cost was going to be my responsibilty.”

“Good solid rake but the stands that attach in each side to hold it up are a very poor design. It’s and square tube with a hole drilled through it that is upright when in use. They both broke at the holes for the pins while pushing a brush pile.There should be a different way to secure the legs or both hole should have quick release pins so they can be removed. Without the legs it is a lot harder to connect.”

“This is a good concept, but not the best design.. I used it on a job for a total of maybe 20 minutes and bent two of the bottom tines and both ends. Also broke one of the legs off that hold it up when not hooked to the skid steer. I could have taken the legs off but did not think about needing to do this until it was broken. Seemed to be built pretty sturdy but did not hold up to the small roots I was dealing with. Going to see if I can make it stronger since I have already purchased it..”
