The Fronthoe Excavator Attachment is ideal for farming, construction, landscaping, and agriculture. This attachment is designed with a universal skid steer mounting plate that allows you to use this attachment with a wide variety of skid steer and tractor loaders. The substantial boom style arm features a 6,000 PSI cylinder, greaseable pins, and bushings, and comes equipped with hoses and flat-faced couplers. The fixed, single-arm implement reaches 6 FT deep from the mounting plate and includes the option for your choice in Hydraulic Tilt Bucket size that is controlled inside the cab.

UPDATED VERSION: The Fronthoe now comes with a higher-strength steel frame, greaseable pins, and a fresh powder-coat update in Titan Charcoal/Orange.

“You get what you pay for. So if you want a good quality attachment, you will need to spend about $1500 in time and replacement parts to make this a good attachment. New hose couplers, shorter hose lines, new washers and pins, higher quality bolts, cutting, welding, drilling and painting to fit Bobcat plates.”

“Frontier works great the retention pin on the main bucket pin needs a new design and to be made of hardened steel. Mine bent and came out within the first few hours of use and it needs some assembly instructions or a video. The unit itself works great.”

“The attachment is built well, but missing a very important feature. The bucket arm doesn’t swivel! The entire skid steer has to be rotated to dump a bucket of dirt making the job labor intensive. I wish that the sales person I spoke to before purchasing the attachment would have mentioned that to me! I would not have made the purchase.”

“Seems To be well-built, First day I dug a 130-foot trench in clay, with no problems. I am sure an excavator would be better, but this turned my old 853 skid steer into a very capable trencher.”
