Very satisfied with this post hole digger left a star off because I ordered a post hole digger with auger and ordered a second auger to go with but only got digger and one auger so one auger left off one star left off but it is a great product very pleased as usual as I say every Titan needs Titan tools

I ordered this on a Monday and on Friday, FEDEX Freight pulled a tractor trailer to my door and unloaded it with a hand pallet truck. Packed in a angle iron frame that was bent a little, but all the parts of the post hole digger were OK...a few scratches, but it's a piece of equipment, right?! I didn't see any instructions for assembly, but once you figure out you DON'T use your conventional 3pt hitch top link, it was pretty simple. I put about 3 quarts of Walmart 90W oil ($13) into the top vent hole but didn't remove the side service port. It's probably a little over serviced, but it will be fine. With the 12" auger, I dug 7 holes easily with my 38hp Kubota to put in a gate on my farm. 12" auger is the right size for 8" post to allow for tamping. Overall, good piece of equipment at 1/2 price of local Kubota dealer.

A couple issues during assembly. No mention of gear oil quantity needed. I ended up buying a gallon of 80w90 + a bottle of Lucas oil stabilizer (personal preference since it'll sit for long periods of time). I estimate that to fill it completely takes about .8 Gallons. Just an FYI there. The packaging is so-so and therefore there were deep scratches in a couple spots on the paint. Not a huge deal but is something that could be improved upon. Once the P.H.D was assembled, it dug like a champ. I had to readjust the mounting point one time which wasn't a big deal. I run a Ls 4150H (50hp) and it felt well matched to the machine with the 12" auger bit. I like to dig at idle and only once did I get a big of bogging down on the machine and that was on the up function of the 3 point arms when the auger was pretty deeply burried. I was digging in clay and the auger / gear box held up well. After 12 back to back holes, the gear box wasn't even warm. Overall, I highly recommend based on the function and the price point!

First the good stuff. This is my third purchase from Titan and I've found they deliver good quality for the price. This machine has drilled 25 holes and worked flawlessly. Looks very sturdy. I had some issues which I will discuss next. Before I do, customer service was awesome. Kudos to Stephanie. The best customer service ever!!!! Suggestions: Put the gear box oil capacity on the gear box AND in the manual. I didn't have enough oil and I still don't know the capacity. The plastic PTO guard on mine machine was too long and it's already getting chewed up and broke a chain that keeps it from spinning. It should be 1/2 inch shorter. The shipping sucked really, really bad. First I had to make a special trip to Fedex to pick up and all they had was the auger. They had no idea it was two pieces. This makes no sense to me. Shouldn't they have known one box was mising? That was 2 hours of wasted time. Since it was late, I had to reorder and had already left my home for my farm. So I had to have the rest shipped to a friend out there. This delayed my project and cost me another 2 hours. So I thought this was being shipped free to my house. Instead it took 4 hours of my time and more arranging the logistics. Fire Fedex.
