This pin-on auger is crafted with a strong construction-grade steel frame that features a spiral design with a fishtail auger point and comes with a safety cover for the tip. “I have been using the 12 inch auger on my 30 HP Post Hole Digger. This bit has been much tougher with the rocks then I expected. I have hit granite and quartz rock groupings below grade that have stalled my 25 HP tractor, but the bit and teeth have not broken. I did bend one down, and it took a long bar to bend it back into place, but that was to be expected because I do hit breadbox sized rocks and bigger. I am still going strong with the 12 inch auger after 20 + stubborn holes.”
