“The HD stump bucket is nicely built, and heavy as a full sized bucket. I haven't dug any stumps yet, but I am certain it will do the job nicely. A couple of points that might make the experience better: 1) the bucket is mounted upside down in its heavy angle iron crate. You have to flip the whole thing to couple it to your skid steer so you can move it about. Would it really have been so difficult to crate it so that it can be hitched to the quick attach? 2) The welder got a little careless when placing the angle braces that stiffen the upper bar of the quick attach. They let them overhang the space where the skid steer's quick attach handle must move, and it becomes a one way latch: You can latch it, but you can't unlatch it. I had to grind the overhanging bits of the angle brace off so my quick attach handles could move freely in both the latch and unlatch directions.”

“This attachment is for a strong tractor or skid steer you need to use care while operating your equipment. We have red clay soil that is close to hard pan soil. This bucket works great for brush with shallow roots, trees with tap roots are a challenge. I think a pointed serrated edge point attachment to replace the teeth would work for tap roots.”

“It's too heavy for my tractor-the salesman should have advised me to get the lighter one.Also it fits loose on the quick attach and klunks a lot.”
