Dual Prong Hay Bale Spear Bucket Attachment Frame + 43" Spears Reviews

4.2 Rating 17 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

The Hay Bale Spear Attachment is designed to easily install on the front of your skid steer or tractor loader bucket. This universal mount slides over the bucket's cutting edge and utilizes the underside for leverage. The bolt-on chain system firmly tightens the chains with the provided rachet binders allowing you to get to work in minutes. When finished, loosen the chains, and slide them off the bucket to start moving the earth again. The durable frame features Conus 2 sleeves for installing hay bale spears and is rated at a 3,000 LB loading capacity. Because of its powerful weight capacity, you can easily transport and stack several hay bales, round or square. Use this attachment on the farm or ranch to help feed horses, cows, and other animals.

Love the bucket spear. It is constructed well, and distributes the weight of the bale across the entire bucket. I had difficulty installing due to the manufacturer painting the threads on one side of both ratchet binders; they were seized up hard. Worked fine after a lot of elbow and WD-40 lithium grease. Attached the seized end to a fixed steel loop, and used the ratchet handle to break them free.

Quality so far seems great. Was a little shocked it didn't come with directions to put together. Wasn't bad but for someone could be an issue.

Stronger than I expected. Moves large grass bales with was as well as fallen trees and general clean up around the farm. Easy to put on and take off the bucket when switching jobs.

The only issue I encountered was the chains were not quite heavy enough to flip a bale. It broke both chains right at the weld point. I've since upgraded to a grade 70 chain.

We have a horse & donkey rescue and go through many bales a week. The single spear from TSC did not handle the large bales, particularly squares, securely. This dual spear attachment is awesome! Very well built and stable when attached to the bucket. It even picks up pallets!!! We couldn't be happier!!!
