“This hay frame attachment will probably work on round bales, it does not work on large square bales (1300 pounds). I attempted to use it to load large square bales and the spike slips through the hay and it cannot be picked up. I am attempting to modify the attachment with longer lower spikes instead of the stabilizers. I also ordered a 49 inch main spear. I hope these modifications will make it usable.”

“Lightweight but strong. Moves round peanut hay without any issues. The universal front end loader fitment is pretty tight but not so tight you can't get hooked up easily enough. The spear is very sturdy and the guides are exactly what you would want. The bolts for the guide spears are kind of cheap but they work and if you ever heard the old saying, "Everything breaks somewhere eventually you just pick where you want it to break" then you should not have any issues. If for whatever reason you remove the guide spears much it is a lot easier to buy bolts than it is to rethread everything and still buy bolts. We could not be happier with this pallet fork frame /hay spear.”
