I bought a pallet fork frame with the headache rack option and 36" forks. I use this on my 1025R with success in extracting logs and brush, and hauling smaller items. However, when it came to carrying pallets and other things on the order of 48" dimensions, the 36" forks were a bit tippy and unstable. So, I bought the 60" extensions. As soon as I received them I put them on. They fit fine, stayed put, and allowed me to handle pallets and items with larger dimensions with very little loss in load capacity. They are well worth the money. As for the "powder coating" they supposedly have, well, it's little more than a dusting. Very fragile, easily scratched, and pretty useless. However, being realistic, if your forks aren't scratched and dinged you're not getting much use out of them. In the spring I'll sand and prime them, then spray them with pickup bed liner. It'll inhibit rusting, which is pretty much all I care about!
