The Square Spear is designed for farm and construction equipment and can handle any of your daily needs. This spear is forged and tempered for maximum strength, used in hay attachments, grapples, buckets, and other skid steer and tractor attachments. Each spear is painted red and features a threaded end that fits a Conus 2 Bushing Sleeve (sold separate), and a red nut.

“Keep a spare on hand. I bale, store, and feed 750 rolls a year and tend to break a speak every couple of years. Each bale being handled a few times, I’m not surprised that they eventually break.”

“Gooseneck ball was loose, and there is no way to get to the nut. I would have expected the ball and/or nut to be welded in place, but apparently not. I was able to get the ball tight. I had to drill out the clevis hole in one of the hitch pins in order to get the clevis pin through the hole. Besides that, I am satisfied with the hitch. Update: I had the 2 5/16 ball welded on. Should have been like that originally.”
