43" Conus 2 Square Hay Bale Spear Reviews

The Conus 2 has a 3,000 LB capacity and 1 3/4" diameter and uses the C2 weld in sleeve (see measurements in photo). The 43" spear is designed for use with farm and construction equipment and can handle any of your daily needs. Used in hay attachments, grapples, buckets, and other skid steer and tractor attachments. This spear is forged and tempered for maximum strength. Each spear is painted red and includes a blue nut. The included C2 sleeve is designed specifically for the Conus II spear to provide a tight fit with no play.

“If you don't get this spear fully inserted into your bale and go to lift, it bends very easily. It's not the end of the world or a deal breaker (especially since it bends back very easily), but it can be a bit frustrating. I bought this one because I already had a Conus 2 sleeve welded into my hay spear frame. It would have been nice to be able to install the "49" Square HD Hay Bale Spear 4500 lbs capacity 1 3/4" wide with nut C3 sleeve", but I don't think it would have been worth the trouble to cut out the old sleeve and weld in a whole new one.”
