“I used the cutout mounting plate to convert a Koyker bucket. The bucket has two strips of approximate 1/4" by 6" plate continuosly welded in the stress areas. Had I used a solid rectangular plate adapter, I couldn't have welded the inside of the adapter to the reinforcement plate. The cutout adapter worked great for my bucket. I only had to use a couple of filler bars to attach the inside corner of the wing that catches the pins. Less weight too!”
