3 Point Subsoiler Attachment Fits Cat 2 Tractors Reviews

4.4 Rating 18 Reviews
Read Titan Attachments Reviews

The Single Tine Subsoiler is ideal for creating single-pass deep soil conditioning for water draining and installing wire or water lines. Quickly attach this implement to your Category 2, 3 Point hitch tractor and watch as it plows through hard and dry land 18" below ground. It has a thick reinforced frame and a reversible forged and heat-treated scarifier ripper tooth. We have also included the lower lift pins and the top link pin to help transform your tractor into a ripping machine.

NOTE: True subsoiling depth varies depending on how low your 3 Point hitch gets to the ground. Check the product specifications and your 3 Point hitch before purchasing to ensure you can reach desired depth

Used a 66hp Kioti tractor to pull the Subsoiler. Worked well, even in the heavy sodded ground and sand rock. Did 10 ft spacing and covered 16 acres easily in a day and a half. Will split the difference next year. Complaints are that the factory grade 2 sheer bolt was fully threaded instead of left a shank where the bolt slides through the ripper shank so it broke rather easily. Also an odd size of 9/16”. The 3 point mounting pins are lack luster, while being CAT 2 pins, the mounting studs are only 3/4” and bent inside the Subsoiler frame because the holes need a larger stud (drilled too large or wrong studs installed).

it's very heavy duty like it's advertised, does break a lot of bolts if your ground is as hard as mine but it does do the job if your trying to get more moisture in your soil, good investment

This subsoiler is solid. Sadly, I was not able to use it because the 3-point hitch on my Kubota does not lift the subsoiler high enough to give adequate clearance when not in use. There are two mounting holes several inches apart, but even the lowest mounting hole (which will raise the tool) does not provide adequate clearance. However, for larger tractors (50hp +), this unit should work fine. Another thing to keep in mind, is this unit comes ready for a category 2, not a category 1 hitch.

Built like a tank. Delivery time was fast. I have ordered multiple implements from Titan. All have been solid pieces. My one complaint is that they don’t secure there draw pins (or bolts) depending on the implement very well during shipping. Two of the pieces I have ordered were missing a lock nut or a bolt altogether. The pins themselves have always made it because they run a wire through the pin holes and secure them to the implement. But that’s not always the case for the lock nuts or smaller bolts. This could easily be fixed by screwing on the lock nuts with an extra twist or two or putting the bolts in a bag and zip tying it to the equipment. They made it right when I called them. But for such an easy fix that saves everyone time and money I’m surprised they haven’t made these changes yet. All in all, highly recommend.

Would have given 5 stars, but waiting on new tractor delivery and haven’t used it yet. Looks like it will work great. Time will tell.

Works great, strong and sturdy. Hit some roots and stopped tractor, 50hp. No damage, pulled the root right out of the ground.

This is not like the one you will find at the Tsc store. This is made for a very big compact or a utility tractor. Does a great job. I have a Massey 2606h, 65 engine, 55 PTO cat I, II. It came with cat II lift arm pins and top link pins. The lift pins are 29 “ from the ground. Make sure you can get that lift in your tractor plus another 5” for transport. Great HD SUBSOILER.
