“Works best if you rip the soil a few times with only the subsoiler first, then attach the pipe layer. I was able to trench to a depth of about 15 inches. Had to remove the QuickHitch from the 3 point mounts to achieve the best depth.”
“This attachment is the best money I have ever spent on Farm equipment. I needed to lay irragation lines for 10 acres of property. I laid 1200 feet of 1.5 inch poly and 2400 feet of 1 inch pex. It placed the hose 24 inches below the surface which is perfect for my hose bibs. The only draw back is it takes 2 people to feed the hose into the ground. One person to unwind the hose and keep it strait and one person to feed it into the pipe attachment. On some of the ground that was very hard I had to go over it more than once with the subsoiler. Once you got the right depth the ground would grab the hose as you went thru and hold it in place.”
“This was heavy duty - did a great job laying a few hundred feet of 4/0 Triplex plus a ground for my first job. Looking forward to using it for other jobs around the farm.”
“Installed the Titan pipe layer onto my subsoiler that was attached to a 28 hp. Ford 4x4 1720 tractor. The pipe layer was flawless in the laying of 2 100' romex 12/2 wires together at the same time. The Titan pipe layer is built very sturdy and was the best price I could find anywhere. Also it was delivered earlier than what was initially thought.”
