The 3 Point Trimmer Mower is designed for trimming and mowing along roadsides, fence lines, and pond banks. It easily tackles weeds and tall grass, allowing you to get within inches of fence posts, walls, and other decorative features. With a pivoting deck, it follows landscape contours for effective maintenance on uneven perimeters, ensuring a well-groomed appearance. The spring-loaded mowing arm, equipped with a steel guard, allows the trimmer head to cut within half an inch of obstacles. This mower easily attaches to any Category 1 tractor or loader with a 3 Point hitch and is powered by your machine's PTO. For optimal performance, we recommend using a tractor with a maximum of 45 HP.
The trimmer is available either as a standalone unit or with an additional pack of replacement cords.
NOTE: Two trimmer cords must be installed at all times and ensured they are the same length.

Won’t be able to test the trimmer until April. My only initial dislike is that the trimmer does not have quick hitch capabilities. This is the reason I can only give the product a 4 at this time.

This unit does do what it's supposed to. Mine likes to throw the strings out for some reason, haven't figured that one out yet. I have done a few miles of fence line so far. The only issue I have had is the weak point of the whole thing. The spring-back assembly snapped itself in half. It is just a piece of all-thread with some nuts and springs. The support team helped me out with a replacement and I'll be up and running again soon.

Delivery was prompt, and as others have stated the instructions are not very through but I was able to use the pictures to get everything together. Hitched up fine to the 3pt. It does take a bit to get it adjusted to cut the way you want it to. On flat terrain it is fantastic! Let me say that again “Fantastic”! On sloped or varying ground I found that it is a challenge to keep it at the height I wanted the grass cut to. In time I became more comfortable adjusting the 3pt to compensate for the terrain. Have used this once and the trimmer strings are holding up fine (even after trying to trim rocks and gates). Two complaints. First, I wish it was a little longer (actually wider) as it only extends approximately 16-18 inches outside the rear tire (tractor is Kioti DK series) and with a few curving fence lines I have to get a little closer to the fence than I like to. Second, instructions don’t explain how to adjust the spring tension for the trimmer swing. I have two miles of fence and this really has saved my back and knees and I know as with any new implement the more I use it, adjusting for the differences in terrain will be more routine.

I've only had a few chances to actually run it. But this trimmer seems to be well built with a solid construction. Personally I wish the offset was a little bit more. With my 34hp Compact tractor I have to stay a bit closer to the fence. But it works perfectly as advertised when it comes up to a post.
