“The ballast box works as it should. The size for my JD 1023e is appropriate. I switched out a JD (Frontier) box to gain the 2” receiver hitch. There are two reasons for a “good” versus a “great” review score. The first is the shipping packaging. The cardboard and bubble wrap did not protect the paint of the box. Every surface was scuffed and worn to the shiny metal. It is a shame to put on a brand new implement that looks used. The second reason for a lower score was missing pins. The top and hitch pins were there, but the lift pins must have fallen through one of the holes in the packaging. A little sanding, a spray can of JD paint (true JD green) and two lift pins later, and it was ready to go.”

“The shipping was iffy... Not sure FedEx cares about customer products. Paint was scuffed in several areas. A dent found in the top panel. Missing 2 components. (Titan shipped replacements immediately) It's "only a tractor box" but something purchased new should arrive in that condition.”
