This single-tine ripper conditions soil and creates trenches for laying water lines, wires, and hoses. Attach it to any ATV, UTV, or Cat 0/Cat 1 tractor with a 2" hitch and rip through tough, compact soil with ease with the replaceable shank and reversible carbon steel tooth. Two height adjustment options allow you to easily adjust the digging depth, with the attachment measuring either 14.25" or 16.25" from the center of the hitch to the tip of the ripper. Constructed with thick powder-coated steel and quality welding, this lightweight ripper comes with a shear bolt to protect your attachment and your machine when encountering hard dirt or hidden rocks - and has 3" of steel past the pin hole when installed to ensure a secure fit and to prevent wobbling.

“The ripper works great; and, it is made well using thick steel. If you rip hard, dry dirt, with hidden rocks, you will probably shear some bolts (the ripper comes with one spare shear bolt), which will protect your equipment from overstress. I recommend Titan stock the shear bolts. I searched Titan's website; but, I couldn't find any shear bolts. Therefore, I went to Home Depot and found 1/2" diameter bolts, and matching nuts (low grade steel), which shear sufficiently.”

“I have numerous silver maple trees on my property with many exposed roots. I used this ripper on my John Deere 3025E and so far I have been able to rip up roots with diameters up to 3 inches. It has worked better than expected.”

“My Titan Hitch Mounted Ripper will be used on my John Deere 2032R Compact Tractor as soon as I figure out how to mount it. The issue is that the Tractor Rear Hitch Receiver is not compatible with the Ripper because the Hitch Pin is vertical, not horizontal. You need to have an iMatch Quick Attach System, and the Receiver Hitch Attachment to make it work. This way, you can lower or raise the Ripper on the Three-Point Mount. My plan is to rip up the grass (weeds) in the yard to later dig out the Florida sand and install a 1" PVC pipe water line to support a Drip Irrigation System. The Ripper is heavy and Heavy Duty. I'm sure it would be effective in rocky or clay soil. My only wish is that it would have some additional bolt holes to make it somewhat adjustable in depth. Otherwise, excellent!”

“Haven't used yet but I believe it is going to be too small to use for its intended purpose. Well built and seems sturdy. Planning on running a seasonal water line. Needs at least a 2" digging tooth. May have to add a little to it. Will update review once used.”
