WASN'T BAD PUTTING IT TOGETHER

Pawn upon receiving my hay bail elevator I unpacked it and put the pay bill elevator together the motor mount is too close to be able to use the hay bale shoot. The only way I can make it work is too weld the fitting for the hay bill shoot onto the motor mount. Also two of the nuts are missing off of the two adjustment screws at the end of the elevator to adjust the tension.

The bolts connecting the conveyor hooks onto the chain are weak. Had 3 break with the very first use after doing appx 20 bales. The bales are average weight and the angle is appx 45.

Hello Sharry, thank you for the review and and my apologies for the experience you have had with you order. I have had a chance to check and I can see that one from our warranty team has reached out and has provided a resolution. We value our customers' experience and feedback and are constantly working with manufacturers to better enhance the design of our attachments. Thank you get letting us turn this around for you.

Even though the unit came in pieces, to be assembled (without instructions), I found it to be easy to assemble and start operations. It took a minute to study the motor mount and get that correctly placed, and when tightening the chain you may have to tighten a bit more than you might at first expect (it'll tend to bounce off of the lower rollers), but it's a great elevator. I've used several, and I'm quite happy with this one. The only hitch was the 4 foot extention. The chain track in the center was offset by 0.25 inches, which would allow the chain to bind up and seize the motor. We were forced to do some...adjusting...with a hammer and chisel, to move the edges of the track away from the centerline of the main elevator tracks. This is why the 4-star review...otherwise it would have been a 5. Your experience may differ, but in our case the adjustments did work and with metal bending and mauling, we are using it just fine.
