Tame any terrain with this finish mower. A floating hitch keeps your wheels on the ground and your blades contoured to even the most irregular terrain while adjustable wheel brackets allow you to set the cut height from 0.4" - 3.2" for a polished cut every time.

This unit comes equipped with three heat-treated blades and features a wide rear discharge to eliminate grass buildup in uncut areas. Save time switching out your implements and attach your mower to your machine from the comfort of your seat. This attachment is quick hitch compatible and is constructed with high grade steel and a low-noise cast iron gear box for a long service life.

Compatible with Cat 1 tractors and loaders with a 3 Point hitch, this implement is powered by your machine’s PTO. For best results, we recommend using your attachment with a tractor or loader with 18 – 50 HP.

Everything works great as I expected with this finish mower. The only problem I have is that the gear box oil fill screw on the top of the gear box does not fit correctly and allows oil to escape past the threads. Even with thread tape the oil manages to get by. The filler hole bolt is obviously not made to give a perfect seal as it should be. I'm looking for a replacement now. It could be that the threads in the gearbox are not cut correctly versus the bolt being incorrect too. Not sure yet.

Mower was shipped missing some of the bolts, after three calls to customer service they send the missing parts. When the parts came, it was the wrong parts. I set them a picture and circled the parts needed from the parts breakout in the manual.

This equipment functions well: it is sturdy, basic, relatively compact, flexible, cuts well. Other reviewers have complained because they didn't read warnings and operated it without filling the gearbox with oil or lubricate at various critical points. The mower deck is shipped without oil, which means you need to buy it and pour in the gearbox before operating. Which leads me to my only complaint: written assembly instructions (and those available online) are hard to read because of tiny font and faint diagrams, specifications are lacking (what is capacity of gearbox for oil?), and operating instructions are incomplete (while the instructions state that lubrication should be applied every eight hours of operation, there is no diagram showing where all the lubrication points are located; there is no detailed information about how and where to check tension on V belts driving the mower blades).

I believe it will be a good mower. But, it was shipped missing 2 spacers for the wheel spindels , one 3 point hitch attachment spindel and the paint was scratched.

Operator error. Operator struck a tree root which resulted in bending the wheels. The implement should have fared better as this was not a large obstacle. Easily fixable. However, in ordering the replacement parts for repair, was told the parts were not available. Given that wheels are the most likely, and most often damaged part, and that the wheels are likely common to other versions of the mower, the lack of available parts is frustrating.

This 6ft finishing mower replaced my 8ft bush hog type mower and it does a much better job of mowing established grass lawn type areas. I like the three point hitch because I can leave the mower attached and still do other things with my tractor. It cuts well and does a nice even job,
