“This is a great tool for saplings and smaller trees. I've done up to 4" ash - which is before the taproot really takes hold - which takes some back-and-forth to break things free. It handled 4" pine - which have shallow roots - just by pulling. Below that you can pull saplings with ease. Works great for pulling T-posts, too. Bonus: with a little practice you can set T-posts, too. The wide opening jaws allows gathering woody brush so you can get a good grip and pull to get it roots and all. Heavy construction with 1" steel jaws. The pusher is a necessity (even though it's sold as an option). It helps to make it possble to "wiggle loose" the larger trees, but more importantly it keeps trees from tipping back onto the cab or the operator. Note that I use it on a 60 horse tractor on the FEL. Being out that far ahead it's a bit difficult to aim it sometimes - I have to stand up in the seat to look over the hood. But the open frame lets you get enough of a look at what's in front of the puller. It's all good. Use on a skid steer where you're "right there" will give a much better view of the work.”

“The attachment came freight and had no issues. I've used it a lot pulling invasive honeysuckle. Some are very large so I have to use my stump bucket to pop them out and them grab with the puller, works as intended.”

“The Titan Tree and post puller is a heavy duty piece of equipment that is ready for heavy duty work. When attached to the Massey Ferguson GC1723 tractor your only limitation is the tractor and it's hydraulic system. The lift on the tractors front loader will not pull a four inch tree and the push guard, if installed subtracts from that. But don't think this is a useless piece of equipment, I found it to be very effective on smaller trees that come up where you don't want them.”
