The overall height of the Wall Mounted Steel Cantilever Jib Boom Crane is 69.5" from the bottom of the locking pin to the top of the I-Beam, making it perfect for locations where low ceiling height is a concern. The 1/2 Ton Capacity of the Wall Mounted Jib allows you to maneuver large items safely and effectively while working in bays, factories, shops and along walls. This is an economical alternative to overhead cranes and monorail systems. The cantilever style jib boom crane comes equipped with 2 heavy duty mounting brackets to allow you for easy installation to vertical wall members. The full 180° rotation allows the jib boom to be used in most applications and has 3 locking positions that can be engaged with the included spring pin. Simply pull the chain attached to the spring pin to disengage the pin to allow for rotation. The I-Beam measures 3.5" wide, 6.5" high, 88" long and has a thickness of 3/8". The usable length of the I-Beam is 80".

I got my crane delivered safe and sound even though Saia destroyed the crate it was packed in. I installed it on a verticle I beam in my garage. Installation was easy after drilling 12 holes in the I beam. Two things I recommend changing: I tossed the cheap hardware that attaches the horizontal beam to the vertical column. There is no way I was going to trust the strength of the included fasteners. I purchased Grade 8 hardware and used that instead. The other thing that is needed is a way to lock the pin at the bottom of the vertical column to allow you to turn the crane without holding the pin down. I drilled a hole in the pin and use a hairpin-style cotter pin to keep the pin from engaging one of the three holes when pivoting the crane. At the end of the day, these were not deal breakers. Just suggested improvements.

I have only had this crane installed for a couple of weeks, but so far it is great. Excellent value. Very pleased with quality and sturdiness of this crane. I probably would not lift more that 500 lbs at the furthest end of the boom, but at the half way point I am comfortable with its 1/2 ton capacity. All bolt holes lined up well so installation was easy and hassle free. Wish the rotation locking mechanism had a lock out option so boom can be moved without constantly pulling lock out chain. I am using vice grips to hold mechanism open when I want boom to swing freely.
