“Really wish I could rate this higher, but anyone looking at this product with at least a moderate-sized chest needs to know how these'll fit you. I'm about a 26B and ordered an XL, and this top fit me about the same as any sports bra, I think mainly due to how thin the fabric is; It's a stretchy swimsuit-like material all the way around with no compression panel like gc2b binders have. I'm honestly not sure how these are even marketed as compression tops, that's how little it did for me. I had to check the order and make sure I didn't buy a sports bra by mistake. And listen, as someone with a big chest, I know binders can only do so much. But my old gc2b's get my chest nearly flat. I would just encourage anyone big-chested reading this to ignore the (somehow mostly positive?) reviews and either buy a full-on binder or save some money and get a heavy-duty sports bra instead. TomboyX does a lot of great stuff, but I judt don't think their compression tops are there yet.”
“I loved this so much I ordered one in every color! I have a large chest and I don't think it gets me much flatter than my usual sports bra, but somehow it's a lot more comfortable - and still supportive and breathable enough to use it as a sports bra. Magic!”

“I bought this because it seemed to solve the problem my gc2b had where the bottom gaped open and left a visible line across my shirt. The Tomboy X does avoid that issue, and I knew it wouldn't provide as much compression, but I thought it would at least provide a little more compression than my Nike sports bra. Nope. It's about the same compression, only less comfortable because of the weird scratchy fabric the band is made of.
Under bust - 29"
Chest - 33"
I was worried the XS would be too small, but it's not.”
“depending on how your breast tissue is, sizing may vary. i got sized for a large and tried it but i didn’t really notice a difference in compression so i plan and purchasing another in a smaller size to see how that fits”
“The racer back is a good comfy fit, but for a DD-DDD person, it holds more like a sports bra rather than a binder. I bought a XL for my 230lb body and it doesn’t compress at all for me. Very comfy though and I don’t realize it’s there. Probably better for smaller chested people.”

“Feels too much like wearing a sports bra. The band is a lot tighter than the compression part. It does work pretty well visually (my chest looks flatter) but I don't have large breasts to start with. But I don't want to feel like I'm wearing a bra - it counteracts any good feelings about how I look with it on - and this does feel like wearing a bra. Also, it's not much cheaper than an actual binder.”
