“I love this top. My boobs are so big (probably G or H cups? I stopped counting, they kept growing) that I'm embarrassed to be in photos and my arms' range of motion is impeded, and "minimizer bras" don't help one bit. I definitely still have a visible chest, which might be a relevant warning to some people who want it to be totally compressed, but this will mean that I can wear button-down shirts again and I don't have to worry that I look like A WALKING SET OF TITS.
One caution is that if you have a narrow ribcage the band might be a little loose. I'm a US size 12-14 and very hourglassy, so my ribcage is pretty small compared to my boobs. I weighed whether to get a L or XL in this top and ultimately went with the XL. It's VERY comfortable and gets the compression job done, but the band is not tight enough for me to use this as a sports bra for activities where there might be any bounce. I probably would've been fine with the L but I don't know if it would be as comfortable.
So it's not totally perfect but if wearing this saves me the $10K I'd spend on a breast reduction I'd say YES it's definitely worth the investment.”
“Great for looser binding, far more breathable and allows for a wider range of movement and motion compared to the GC2B binder. Although not as breathable as I would have preferred, it does not trap as much sweat as the GC2B, however, can feel sticky and sweaty during summer/after sports. As someone who plays volleyball, it was a bit difficult as the thickness of the strap got in the way of arm movement at times. The binding is great considering the pros of the binder, not as flat as GC2B but it gets the job done, would recommend wearing it on break days from the gc2b/more restrictive and compressing binders. My only issue is that the adjustable strap leaves painful and itchy red scratch marks on my collarbone/chest area from movement and friction, this was after I played volleyball, (not rigorous, however) I do not get the red marks when wearing normally for short periods of time. The fabric often rides up to the armpit area which causes some discomfort and requires constant adjustment for somebody with sensory issues. I tend to slouch and have bad posture, especially when sitting down, I noticed that when I sit the binder does not move with my body and digs into my armpits which is extremely uncomfortable. Overall I am pretty satisfied with the product but I would only wear it as an alternative/ casual binder for low-movement activities.”

“Love it!
I'm traditionally a 38DDD and bought an XL. I feel secure while still being able to comfortably breathe. The adjustable aspect has been a game changer, especially since my GC2B has too much material for the shoulders that the binding part doesn't stay where I need and causes unnecessary bubbling. The thick strap at the bottom keeps it from rolling up as well, which was my chief complaint with my Underworks binder as well.
This binder keeps everything in place comfortably, and am happy to say that I'm equally impressed with their underwear as well.
I bought this and a 5 pack of underwear as a celebration for getting started on T after 2 years of wanting to start.”
“This is the one I've been looking for my whole life. It is not as tight as I expected, and I LOVE the freedom of movement the rest of my body feels wearing it. My whole nervous system has relaxed knowing the girls are not in the way. If you are someone who reaches in their drawer everyday just looking for a "smasher," This. Is It.”
“I've tried binders/compression bras from different brands advertising towards non-binary / trans people., And this one specific bra has been the most comfortable and gender-affirming piece of underwear that I own. It does not suffocate me with the tightness. Full disclaimer I am at about a 40DD I do still have some boobage going on especially if you wear a low cut shirt you will see cleavage, but wearing this top and a big thick t-shirt it feels really good. It's something I can wear all day. I love it, I might just buy another one”
“I've been using the TomboyX Compression Tops for a few months now - they were great at first, they held everything in place and felt really secure. I was comfortable and felt confident in them. The compression was really nice, it wasn't restricting but still smoothed out and reduced my chest size (I am around a 12DD-ish and wear a size Medium in this). Unfortunately in recent weeks I have noticed that they seem to have lost some of their shape and compression ability. They no longer feel as secure and tight, which is really disappointing as I was absolutely loving them. It is natural for garments to stretch out over time, but for them to last less than three months of semi-regular wear is very disappointing to me given the price point. There is definitely great potential for this product to be a 5-star for me, but at the moment it is a bit of a let down.”
“This is my first compression top or binder. In my experience, on its own it doesn't squish down the boobage that much more than a sports bra that's a size too small, but wearing it over an ace bandage or trans tape flattens down the lumpiness really well. It's comfy and secure and has a good fit, it seems high quality and will probably last awhile. I like that the adjustable-ness is in the front and its not just like the slidey bs that you have to reach behind your head for that a lot of sports bras have.”
“I absolutely ADORE this compression top. The compression level is in-between a sports bra and binder, which is excellent for someone like me with a large chest (F cups). It's more comfortable to wear all day than a standard binder and compresses more than my sports bras. I would call the compression level a medium (especially compared to binder compression). I've been telling everyone about this and how gender-affirming it is for me personally who struggles a great deal with having a large chest. I really like that it is adjustable too as I am very short, so the distance between my shoulders and chest is super short. I can wear it with tank tops too! I'm absolutely going to be purchasing another one (and probably the non-adjustable version to try out) in the near future.
Tl;dr: It is super comfy (comfier than a binder) and still does a decent job of compressing despite my large chest. I love it and want more!”
