i bought this when i was looking for bras for my dance performance and it seemed like this would be good. there wasn’t quite enough support for dance but i really like just lounging around the house in it. it’s also super soft

It’s good, helps my dysphoria, but doesn’t totally flatten your chest like a binder would.

I have Sensory Processing Disorder, as well as anxiety which often effects my breathing, so binding isn’t really an option for me. I had been looking for a compression top but they all were specifically “for women” which can be uncomfortable for an afab trans person. This compression top is great bc it doesn’t say “for women” or anything like that, it’s far more comfortable than a binder, and I can wear it all day without much discomfort. It’s worth noting that it doesn’t compress as much as a binder, but I couldn’t tell the difference as my chest is already so small the binder didn’t do much (there’s a difference with both, however for me it’s just to feel better about my body). I highly recommend for trans people who want to bind but can’t for sensory, health, or other reasons!

Overall this is a nice alternative to binding, even if it doesn’t flatten the chest as much as a binder, and helps with dysphoric days without hurting my ability to breath or move. It’s also really nice to work out in and gives better compression and support than a sports bra would.
