The amount of compression is nice for me since I have a smaller chest (bought an XL and measure 40B), but this is definitely not made for people with broad shoulders. It pinches and causes an armpit bulge which makes wearing any top even moderately snug embarrassing :(

I'm using this as something similar to a binder and I really, really like it. It goes down my torso a bit longer than the binder does, but it's tight enough that it doesn't slip upwards. It obviously doesn't bind as much as my binder does, but it's honestly way more comfortable-- in the past year, either as a side effect of getting COVID and it hitting my lungs hard, or just me gaining weight, or both, I've been unable to wear my binder for as long as I used to regularly. So I've been on the lookout for something like this and it's working great! As someone who works outside a lot, it's not any more sweaty than my binder was, and I can still breathe deeply in it :) For extra reference, I'm an A cup, so it doesn't have much to compress, but it still makes a world of difference for someone transmasc like me! :)

Even though I'm right in the mid-range for my size, it's too tight. It fits on most of me but the edges dig into part of my back. It also takes a distracting amount of effort to breathe. I'll probably try a larger size and see if it still is able to compress.

Ordered this because I wanted to bind but was afraid of a binder’s potentially harmful side affects. This doesn’t make my chest exactly flat, but it makes it much less prominent. A good alternative to a binder if you are willing to sacrifice total flatness. I think it’s definitely worth it, I feel like myself now!

Bought one of these on sale to try out and a bit disappointed tbh. It provides the same level of compression as a sports bra and a bit less support than one (I got a L). I'll bring it into my rotation, but I won't buy any more as my usual sports bras are more affordable, more accessible and are more supportive. I'm non-binary and usually wear sports bras for chest compression and was hoping to find something with more compression that isn't as physically restrictive as an actual binder (as this is what the description indicates) but I did not find this to be true. If you're someone after sports bra like functionality/compression but find an actual sports bra to set off your gender dysphoria or want something that doesn't have razorback straps (like most sports bras) so you can wear certain types of shirts, this item would probably be great for you.

i love tomboyx for products that make me feel truly androgynous. the compression top is pretty damn comfortable, like a cross between a sports bra and a binder. it doesn’t flatten me out completely but does reshape my chest to look like pecs rather than breasts. it doesn’t roll up when i move around (a big plus), but my one complaint is the cut of the top under my arms. the high cut digs into my skin and starts to hurt after a few hours however i'm not sure if the compression top would have the same flattening results if the sides were cut lower. overall a great product!

It does a littlemore than a sports bra but less than a binder. I am a 40DD and got the size large, it pushes down my girls but in no way is it close to being flat. It is really comfortable however, the band rolls up which is so annoying to have to fix constantly. I’ve heard people say it’s best with binding tape i’ve worn it all day and it hasn’t really bothered me except for the roll up.it has helped with some dysphoria (im enby) I think this will work alot better with A and B cup chests.
