“I bought 2 of these when they partnered with target. Loved those compression tops! Decided to order some more since my other ones are now beginning to stretch out a bit however this material is a lot softer and less supportive. I bought the same exact size but it feels more like I’m wearing a sports bra and doesn’t compress the way my other ones did so that’s a bit disappointing. Not sure what changed, but I still prefer these over regular sports bras.”
“If you're expecting a lot of compression you're going to be disappointed. I'd say it's about the same level as a good quality sports bra. I don't have a large chest, I think I'm about a B cup maybe and this didn't really do much for me. I've tried other brands of binders and compression tops and I will say this one was the most comfortable of the ones I've tried. Just not very happy with compression.”
“I'm rating this compression top five stars, even though I chose to return it. It's beautifully made with comfortable seams, which is true for all the TOMBOYX garments I've purchased. (This matters to those of us with hypersensitivity that affects our sense of touch.) The top did compress so that wearing a button-front shirt was possible, but the appearance was not as flat as I was hoping for. As background, I ordered 3X and 2X. The 2X was too snug around my ribs. While I wear an XL for shirts, the cup size on the bras I used to wear vary between F and G. So I imagine if my cup size was smaller this would have worked perfectly. I hope this is helpful to those considering purchasing this compression top.”
“This compression top is very comfortable and can be worn all day with no problems. It is minimal and lays flat under clothing, it is however slightly shear. For reference I am 38DDD and ordered XL. I ordered it specifically for the compression because being larger chested is not always the look I am going for, but I also bought the full spectrum sports bra and found that to me more compressing and minimizing than this one. This one is definitely my preferred for comfort and every day wear but for compression and hold get the sports bra.”
“Love this and will definitely be buying one in every color. Does not have quite the level of compression as the GC2B, but that's clearly stated in the product description. My favorite thing about this is the tight (but comfy) band compared to other binders and compression tops. My GC2B kind of flares out at the bottom, which looks less than ideal under a tight-fitting tee or tank. I bought the XS, which fits nice and snug. My chest is 32" (30.5" with the top on), and my band is 26.5". I usually wear XS or S. Big fan of the mesh lining and scoop neck as well.”
