“Bought one of these to help with recovery from a lumpectomy, and it's very helpful with support while my breast heals up. I LOVE the fact that the closure is on the front - less to monkey with, and requires less movement when you're in pain. I'm not accustomed to wearing a bra on a daily basis, and I do have to take this off after several hours for a break, but it is definitely doing what it was designed to do. So glad I bought it. I wish Tomboy X made the "Holdster" style with cups/support on BOTH sides, that would be amazing. I just purchased a bra from another company that was designed to help patients with the discomfort of radiation (which I'm about to start) but the Tomboy X "Holdster" is more comfortable, so I'll just continue to wear that. Grateful to have this product.”
“I love my holdster bra! It took some time to figure out how to place the cup so that it didn't look loose on one side of the cup, but I did, and it looks great now. The strap is awesome - it rides below my scar, so it's nice and comfy. For some reason, the clasp on the silver bra is more exposed, and pokes into my skin, but my black ones are not as much of an issue. In a perfect world, I would have you add a loop of fabric around the strap that could slide over the clasp to keep it off of my skin.”
“I'm a nursing parent, and for the last year I've only been using my right breast to nurse. It's 3x bigger than the left breast, and needs support while the other one is fine under a tank top. With nursing bras I was having systematic trouble where either the band was too loose or my right side was compressed. Enter the Holdster worn over a tank top - this fits my current nursing anatomy perfectly, and I wish I'd thought to try it earlier!”
“I'm so happy that there is a bra option for those of us unibreast folk. There are a couple of things that keep me from giving a perfect score. 1. I would love the band to be wider, after awhile it can get a little twisted on the flat side 2. Would also love an adjustable strap on shoulder, for a more personalized fit.”
“Fit way too small (got a large). The material was okay, but I wish there was more than one picture showing exactly what it looked like. Had I known it was a strap that went around the back of your neck, I wouldn't have bought it”
