Does not run true to size - smaller than I expected. Material should be softer and stretchier. The idea is wonderful but needs work. You need to have a woman run this division that has had a mastectomy. The closer rubs and irritates the skin.

This is a brilliant idea that just needs a bit more refinement. For me, the band size was too small and the cup size too large. Having a larger adjustable band would not be that difficult. Also having actual cup sizes would be helpful. Those of us unibreasted women need something that does give actual support to the remaining breast.

It tends to gap in the front and the band is pretty tight. Not sure if I will keep it.

Eight months ago I underwent the first of my mastectomies. Since then I have been trying to find something that would support the remaining breast to no avail. I am a DD breasted woman so there simply was no hiding the swaying when I walk. In public I was embarrassed by my appearance, the obvious one breast was enough, but the swaying of the remaining one just drew people's attention. It was mortifying. Then I saw an ad for Tomboy's Holdster Bra on Facebook of all places and I got excited. My son who has helped take care of me throughout my recovery ordered me one. I cannot thank you enough for creating this product! You have given me back my dignity. I honestly think this product should be on every breast cancer site! I am doing my part to direct as many patients as I can to the site. Thank you again for truly thinking about what is needed, not just what is pretty because there is nothing pretty about having to give up your breasts. You are the answer to my humble and desperate prayers. GOD BLESS!

I love this addition to my "bra arsenal." I have scars that are still sensitive on both sides from my mastectomy and reconstruction even though the surgery was years ago. I only need support on my real breast. This bra has almost no seams to irritate my scars. That said, it has a metal S-clasp and after a while, the metal digs into my skin. Also there are only 3 adjustments without much difference between them. I suggest a softer closure (perhaps snaps on fabric) and greater adjustment for the band around the midriff (maybe a sliding band like that used on bra straps). Less important but helpful would be something to adjust the strap over the shoulder. Thank you, Tomboy, for your creativity!

2 months post mastectomy. Size C cup before, now I have just one. I went flat and want to keep things simple. This bra is surprisingly comfortable, smooth stretchy yet supportive fabric. It stays in place, and no bunching or rubbing or getting uncomfortable where I’m numb or irritated under my mastectomy side armpit. Can wear it all day! Thank you, thank you!

I was excited to find this bra because I am a single mastectomy survivor and had trouble finding the right bra. I'm not ashamed of having one breast, I just needed support for the other breast and this bra was perfect. It does hurt near my scar if I wear it for too long and the side that covers my breast was a bit too large, that was super frustrating, but it's better than not having one.

This bra is very well designed to avoid any contact with recent breast surgery scars or breast radiation dermatitis, and is the only one of its kind I have ever found! It is comfortable, fully reversible, and offers a bit of light support to the covered breast. I am considering trying to add a few tucks to the cup, to get a better , more contoured fit, but I am not sorry I bought one in each color. I would say it is absolutely worth trying.
