I buy in 2x -- I LOVE the old style. 5 stars for those. For everyday wear I love them and I've abandoned all underwire. I have the old and new design. The new design has less fabric, the wide straps are actually a little hard to put on, and the rectangular clips flip all around. The older style has a little more fabric and the circular clips/thinner straps are more comfortable. I can make the newer style work but I'm hesitant to buy more. I'll wait for the older ones to wear out. I'm considering sizing up to 3x if I get another one due to the changes.

I loved the old ruched bralette and wore it for years and years. I had to restock and I did and... this is such a step down. I feel like the insert pocket prevents it from being as soft and stretchy as the old ones were. It's also just extra fabric to add heat. It definitely doesn't fit the same. I've lost weight and it still feels very snug even though I didn't change what size I bought. Bring back the old style, please!

Unfortunately I feel like they have made the sizing smaller. The new XLs have started to feel too tight and my measurements are the same. Then upon buying XXL (which I shouldn’t be as a “women’s” size 16), they feel just as tight. I also don’t personally like the thicker straps on the XXL. Just because your band is bigger, doesn’t the boobs are bigger.

This bralette is cute and super comfy. I have a short torso and decided to try both a S and an XS, though I normally wear a small. XS is snug but not too snug. S is not too loose. Both are super comfortable.

I don’t like the new fit. The straps are wider, with is okay, but the thing the straps go through is no longer round but retangular and if I’m not careful it will turn 90 degrees and irritate me. The also chances how much fabric is used. Normaly in the old version it had great coverage with is why I choose these bra in the first place, and I disn’t had to adjust the bra through out the day. Now it is very low cut, and have to adjust it multipal times a day, so now they just lay in the closet and only used as in case of emergency.

Used to be better. I previously bought some if the same style and they had thinner elastic straps and circle connector pieces at the strap back. The last bras I got have thicker elastic straps and rectangle strap connectors, changing how they fit, feel, and appear. On some of them the rectangle strap connector doesn't stay in place and spins vertical making the bra strap totally non functional. There is no mention of the straps or connectors being updated or even images of showing these changes. The website still clearly shows thinner straps with circle back connectors. That’s really disappointing because, for me, they were perfect as they were. I wish I’d bought more sooner that had the same thinner straps! I encourage Tomboy-X to provide better descriptions and fit consistency, especially in well-established products.

Hate the updated fit for larger sizes. The Ruched Bra was way better for sizes XL and up, now the straps are huge and there somehow isn't enough fabric. I liked how the ruched version had good coverage, but this version is too short. Bring back the old fit, at least for the larger sizes.

The V Neck bralettes are the only kind TomboyX do that leave a bit of chest area open so it doesn't get too hot but looks ok in summer tops but has enough coverage at the side so fat doesn't poke out. Sadly it appears that they aren't making any more in this style as stocks are running low and there are few left in my size. They seemed to have moved to the scoop prism bra and that has little coverage and if you are a large lady like me, I have a DD cup, there is a lot of side breast poking out. Plus that style has the awkward metal bra clasp which I hate. The essentials bra is too covered and restricting for summer and it shows over the top of dresses or summer tops. Please TomboyX don't neglect this V Neck bralette style its so flattering. I am an XL size UK18 and 38DD and it is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. I am just in fear of them running out. I am returning the prism scoop bras I just bought though, they are not the same and don't have enough coverage and looks like I'm wearing two bananas. Plus its unflattering to have side fat poking out a bra. The v neck ruching really is supportive. This bra is so flattering I can wear it around the house when its hot and it looks like a bikini or crop top. I've been shopping in the print v neck bralettes when there is a heat wave. I have worn them with the hipster pants as bikinis too. The cotton on this is so breathable. I wash mine in a bra bag and in a cold wash and it protects the elasticated band, smooth it out before drying too. Air dry or line dry inside out, and it lasts a long time.
