“This top is not friendly to any pudge on your torso or near your arms. I normally get a medium in TomboyX's stuff, including the Essentials Soft Bra this is similar in shape to. I got a medium and I was squishing out of this thing, and it was super tight. And I don't even have boobs, I can't imagine trying to fit into this if I did. I didn't size up because the cut of the arms is odd and uncomfortable and the bottom band hits me at a very unflattering spot that makes my hips look bigger. I gave two stars instead of one because the material does seem high quality.”
“Bought this for a trip to a European beach and it was perfect. Paired it with some board shorts and I felt comfortable. Dries quickly and fits great. I did have to size up than my normal sizing but glad it worked out. I actually even wore this while traveling because it helped with the heat and sweat during my vacation, even though I know it's a swim top!”
“I've always wanted a swim top that fits like TomboyX's soft essentials bra, but this just isn't it. The shape/sizing is odd- I'm fuller on the outside of my chest, and the cut of the arm holes makes it so I have weird spillage if I don't tuck myself in toward the center of the swimsuit. Sizing up also didn't work, as then the bottom band and straps were too loose. I figured I could live with it being a little awkward since it's tough to find swim tops with this style coverage, but then I actually wore this to the beach. Weeks later, even after washing by the instructions and manually working out as much sand as I could, this thing is FULL of sand. The inner fabric is like unfinished mesh, and so much sand got worked into it that just putting this back on makes it look like I've already been to the beach. This was an awful surprise, and I'm not even sure I can return it, since. Well. It's FULL of sand.”
“Like the others have said here, this is a lightweight great top for emergency situations but absolutely would be better in a racer back design without the zipper. It sucks having your back open that makes you feel like a fishbowl rather than a sports star figure wise.”
“Super comfortable swim top! I'm non-binary and active, so I was looking for something like a sports bra with reasonable compression that I can wear all day camping and won't fall off if I jump into a lake. I originally got a M based on the size chart, but ended up exchanging it for a S - the exchange process was very easy and fast, great customer service. The only flaw is I'd prefer a racerback style. 10/10, would recommend :)”
“Can't say enough great things about these swim tops!! I now have 2 and I'm in love. SO comfortable, beautiful colours, and they fit exactly as expected. I used the size chart/guide and it was super helpful. FYI - it's the same sizing as the compression tops! This is the first time I've ever felt like myself and comfortable in a swimsuit! Yay TomboyX for continuing to give me gender euphoria!”
“It's perfect! As a masc lesbian with a big chest who has trouble finding swimsuits (two-piece or one-piece), this was exactly what I wanted! It's genuinely the first time I've worn a swimsuit, looked in the mirror, and felt and looked like myself. The neckline is high, so great coverage, and there is some compression, not quite as much as a binder (from my experience) but enough for me to feel masc and compressed. The elastic band at the bottom of this top is comfortable, too.”
