This is the second pair of french terry bottoms I have from Tomboyx and you should definitely size down. They tend to stretch out pretty quickly after putting them on.
I ordered the french terry shorts over the summer. I'm usually a L and got an XL because I was worried they'd be too small, and I'm picky on how my shorts fit. I got them in the mail, took one look at them and sent them back for a large. After about a month of wearing those, I decided they were also too big, gave them to my sister and ordered down once more.
The mediums fit me well, though I could probably almost get away with a small even. I tend to wear bottoms two or three times before washing them, and by that last wear the waistband is sagging a little. I need the drawstring to keep them up.
These are incredibly comfortable, thick and cute. I am so happy with them.
I give 4 stars over 5 only because of the drawstring. It's a robust string, which is good, but I have a hard time keeping it tied. I find myself constantly retying it, which can get irritating after a while.”
