“These shorts are very comfortable and fit very well but the situation with the dye has been messy. I appreciate the warning that comes with the shorts to have them washed before wearing (the dye in them is so heavy that at first I thought the shorts came damp in the mail). I did as instructed and washed them alone to get out the excess dye and I thought that would be enough. Unfortunately, the dye has remained even after three washes and it stains everything. I washed it with dirty rags once to save on water and the shorts wound up staining the rags which then ended up bleeding out the dye when I got them wet. The shorts also have kind of a worn look to them. Like they have been slightly sun bleached. I enjoy the shorts for what they are but the situation with the dye bleeding all over everything is a bit of a hassle. I think they need to be shipped prewashed or the warning lable about the dye needs to specify how many washes until its safe to wash with the rest of the laundry.”
