“I love Tomboy X. Before I started T it was really hard to find men's fit underwear that fit my body. Tomboy X filled that gap in the market and it gave me something I felt and still feel authentic in. A piece of clothing might not seem like a lot but having something that fit my body when I didn't feel good in my body and every other piece of gender affirming clothing pinched or was baggy and was proportionally wrong, was a huge thing. I almost exclusively own Tomboy X underwear now...
Suffice to say, I'm only being highly critical of this particular product because of what this brand means to me. I think the 6" fly was a good choice, it was my favorite style when I first started wearing Tomboy X over 2 years ago now. I stopped wearing these as much though because the bands on my thighs are a little tight, its not uncomfortable, its hardly noticeable really but sometimes it creates an indent on my thigh through my pants when sitting. It is only really a big deal for me because I have dysphoria surrounding my thighs, and especially in men's pants that fit slimmer on the thighs I don't love the look. I would love if you redesigned these packing version of the 6" fly to be just a little more accommodating to that concern for trans folkx. Second thing, my packer moves. I like the suggestion of someone else to add an o ring, I think if you were able to secure the packer in place better it would make a world of difference. Bottom line, I still wear them and might buy more in other prints as they come out but they aren't my favorite thing to use for packing and I wouldn't buy a bunch and wear them exclusively.”
“I've been packing with these occasionally and am overall pleased. I've noted some packer shifting, like other reviews have noted, but it doesn't bother me much, your mileage may vary. In all other ways it fits like a comfortable pair of TomboyX boxer briefs. I've found them to be true to size compared to other 6" boxer briefs I've purchased. Would be nice if the packing boxers came in colorways other than black maybe.”
“These are by far the most comfortable packing briefs I own. They fit great on my thighs and don’t ride up like some other packing briefs I have. My only issue is that I use a smaller packer (masho) and it falls to the side it gets turned around easily, making me uncomfortable and have to find ways to adjust in public places. It happens so often that I haven’t worn them as much as I’d like. The movement or even the nervousness of the movement has made me hesitant to wear them around many cis people that I know for fear they will see a bulge that isn’t natural. I actually modified one pair on my own and attached an O-ring that seems to help hold the packer in place a bit better.”
“I pack with the large Pierre from NYTC, and these work great! If I want everything to stay exactly in place I pair these with a pair of pants that fit well, but I’ve also worn them with baggier pants or a flowy skirt and the worst that’s happened is the packer sometimes falls a bit away from my body when I’m moving.
If you make these in any colors/patterns, or make a swimsuit with this sort of pouch, I’ll definitely snap them up!”
“I'm a transguy and I'm really glad to see a new line of packing underwear. These are comfortable and look great. One thing you guys could consider doing is add an o-ring inside to keep the packer securely in place so it doesn't get turned around in the pocket. Other than that the only thing I'd love to see is more color/pattern options for these! Rainbow and trans pride in particular!”
“Really comfortable and good looking fit at the waist, but the seams on the legs have very little stretch/pinch on the thighs. Not uncomfortable for me, only a bit unattractive, but could be a problem for those of us with larger thighs compared to waist.”
