I love this top! I'm 5ft5in, 140lbs and a D cup. I wear small and medium tops and got a medium in this and love it. It's not a super tummy shower, especially with my high swim bottoms but I like how it ends at my waist and isn't flowy. The fabric is great and keeps me cool while I wait for it to dry off. I personally like the lining and was still able to wear it over my halter swim suit. It could be easily removed if you don't prefer it or want to primary wear it over another swim top/bra. Color is as pictured

First, since I can't post my photos -- it's good to know that this "Ribbed Crop Top" is the same as the "Poppin' Bubbles Crop Top." They are different materials, but the length is this same. I say that because you'll want to look at both models to get the idea of the length. It's the same. You would never guess by the model photos. The model in the greenish ribbed top is obviously wearing an oversized (for them) top. So keep that in mind. If you want a longer, looser fit, order a size up. I'm working on a full color tattoo sleeve so I need long sleeve protection. So I ordered 4 rashguards from various places to try out. Including this one. I love this fabric! It’s so soft. It actually just looks like a cropped top shirt. I tried it on with jeans and I was like “I could go to the store in this.” It also has a built in breast support! So no need to wear something under it like a lot of rashguards. It’s just a mesh tank, but it helps a bit. There’s gonna be nipples showing but not so drastic as if you had nothing. I was very afraid that it would be too cropped for me. It comes down to just above my belly button. I'm going to be wearing it with ultra-highwaisted bottoms from another site so there's over lap. The matching bottoms on this site would leave a bit of stomach showing. The mesh lining on this top is a really good fit for me. The outer fabric is nice and loose. I sized up. I usually wear a 2X in women's tops and a 42DDD bra. I ordered this in a 3X. And the best part? THUMB HOLES! That’s right. If I gotta wear long sleeves when it’s 100 degrees outside, at least give me some fun thumb holes. I've seen people mention the thumb holes being on the wrong side. Perhaps, but they way I put it on is, mesh tank first -- then thread my arms through (including the thumb holes) and then pull it on. So this makes the sleeves sit just right. I haven't had trouble with the thumb holes. I’d wear this thing out on a jetski or bouncing on a float dragged behind a boat. The mesh under top makes it feel secure even with looser outershirt. Though I do wish the under layer was attached at more than just the shoulders. You kinda have to put on the mesh top and then the over top. So over all of the tops I ordered, this one is the most comfortable. I think I'll be wearing it in my own pool a LOT. However, for the beach, I'll probably wear one of the rashguards that have cup pads so my nipples won't show. They show pretty bad in this soft fabric. However, I liked it so much that I came back and ordered the Poppin Bubbles print too! I love the soft fabric of this one best, but the color isn't very summery. I'm keeping it because of the comfort, not the looks. Great top though!

Pros: sleeves are just the right length, material is comfortable, and the color is beautiful. Neutral: this definitely is cropped, even if you are short like me. Also, it will be tight, not semiloose like the photo unless you're slim. Cons: THE MESH INSIDE. I cut it out. It's only attached to the outer layer at the shoulders so it's impossible to put on. The bottom band of the liner is SUPER TIGHT, created an very unflattering shape and is uncomfortable. I normally wear an M in TomboyX's tops, and the outler layer fit perfectly in the shoulders, so the sizing of the band makes no sense. Overall, I really like it after removing the liner.

Not very comfortable. I did not realize this is such a crop top. The only way to wear is with belly poking out which is....exactly the part of my body I don't hanging out. The inner lining is also super tight and uncomfortable although it supposed to be the right size and this size in other tomboyx stuff fits me well. I got this for the sun shielding when I'm out walking around/hiking and wanting to jump into water some but it's been in my closet since I got it. I find it way way too girly and showy in a way I'm uncomfortable with (although I love the color!). If it were a normally sized shirt--not crop, and if it wasn't hella tight, I would love it.

The very best of swim tops! This makes me me feel safe and sporty and so much like myself. I love that the ribbed material is fitted but not skintight, and the blue-green color is spectacular. I, 34H-cup agender disaster, am an avowed hater of built-in bras, but this one I’ll actually wear! The crew neck of the black mesh bra section makes it very secure and reads a little more like a binder or an undershirt to me. I like that there was no attempt to go for a “flesh” (ew) tone — black is simple and clean and forgettable. My only complaints are: • Putting it on even slightly damp is An Ordeal. Not a dysphoric one that makes one focus on one’s chest, so mad props for that, but just a physical one: the arms are looooong and get themselves rotated so easily, and dampness makes them sticky. A partner and I spent a full fifteen minutes tracing a twist from shoulder to wrist, with a few nasty accidental punches along the way. Let it dry all the way, be really organized, or do like I’m doing and buy a second one for backup! • The material is a little flimsy. One day of swimming outdoors and it has a few loose threads. Not stressing about that too much. • The crop top feels great dry, but tends to ride up when wet especially paired with the board shorts. In a clear pool surrounded by others, I can imagine this making me feel self conscious. Overall, it’s a wonderful top, and I can see myself wearing it around town or at the beach just for its color, comfort, and UV protection. Thank you so much, TomboyX.

WOW am I a happy camper. I kayak a lot during the summer and wanted a rash guard/comfy longer sleeve top for when I don't want my chest out/just wanna keep safe from the sun. I ordered a 3X bc I wear a 2X in their usual shirts and they're on the snug side. Perfect fit, loose enough that I don't feel suffocated or like my body's fully outlined and has the little thumb holes in the sleeves!! Super comfy, doesn't feel like it'll be too hot and I'm so excited. Literally ordered 6 other swim pieces from various places that didn't work and I didn't even care bc I loved this find so much.
