“The absorbant gusset on these barely covers me. It is too small to catch period blood unless I am sitting straight up and down essentially. I’m not happy with it for it’s intended purpose.”
“I was really looking forward to trying these. I have a few other period pants and a few different reusable pads. I have multiple fibroids, and I have a lot of pain with my period, and sometimes it's too painful and I can't even use my menstrual cup. As soon as I put these on I knew I would have an issue. The built-in pad, while nice and thick, is way too short, it barely extended past the front of my vagina. I used these while sitting at my desk, and within just a few minutes I bled off the front of the pad. I guess maybe these could be used for very light days, but I wouldn't trust them for anything beyond that. These may also work for things like standing or walking, but I don't know if I'd be willing to risk it. If you have other period underwear and like that the absorbent material extends up front then these won't work for you. I would be willing to try these again if TomboyX redesigns, but until then I won't be purchasing more. It's a shame because I have about a dozen other TomboyX products and love them all, but this one is a fail for me.”
“I like the fit, but for me the "leakproof" part is set too far back in the crotch to be at all useful, pretty much center of the panty. It'd be WAY more helpful for light period days if the leakproof strip were longer and went several inches farther up in front of the pubic bone. For me, these lose all the benefits of being leakproof and I have to wear a pantyliner, but they are otherwise comfortable and cute with the rainbow waistband.”
“The product is good but if you don't get the right size, they get a bit bulky. They don't dry until I put feminine powder on the lining. They get the job done and are helpful since I'm a laborer from site to site.”
