“I really wanted to love these, but I am incredibly disappointed. They do not work AT ALL. My complaints:
1) There is a little sewn-in pad in the crotch. This was not clear on the description or photos. I thought these were made of an absorbent fabric throughout. I would not have purchased them if I knew this was the construction.
2) Despite the pad, and my very light flow, I soaked through the front of these immediately. It’s happened twice now, so it’s not a fluke. Thankfully I was not counting on them in public or under clothes. Plain cotton underwear actually leak less.
3) The size seems right, but they ride up on my (admittedly abundant) thighs and get bunched up.”
“Fit is amazingly true to size. I'm so used to having to size up but didn't need to with tomboyX. Cute styles and great variety of colors and patterns in the 4x-6x range. LOVE all the bras and underwear I ordered!”
“The only reason I'm giving these 4 stars is because of the feel and the material. The design could be made better by making the pad area longer in the front and the size runs small compared to the other style I purchased.”
“I’ve been looking for some comfy lady boxers for those of us with a bit of booty and thighs, and period underwear for some time now. These check all the boxes. Love. I’m 5’7” 145lbs and the mediums fit great. Covers my booty and aren’t tight on the thighs.”
“These are very comfortable with the built in area to place a pad in. They don’t bunch up and stay put.
Normally I wear a size small, went with a medium, and they fit great.”
“If these are truly supposed to work for incontinence issues the gusset would have to be redesigned. It starts too low to be of any use. These should work for period leaks. I am disappointed in these trunks unfortunately.”
