“Loved that they brought the thicker cotton back. I have been a customer since the beginning. The first Gen was truly special! Thicker cotton, no side seams, comfy waist band, classic solid colors, then they brought out light gray so it doesn’t show on lighter clothes.
Each generation, the fabric got slightly thinner. By 3rd Gen, the waistband was changed for worst. Elastic starts to break and lose its shape not long after washing. I stopped buying for a while as the colors and patterns got to be too much and quality went down. I tried a colorful bird pattern once and it bleed the very first time I washed it (in cold). It looks dingy and worn out. I never want to wear it again.
I’m so pleased to see the nude color with the first generation thickness comes back. I ordered extra to last me awhile. The cherry on top would be to have the 1st Gen waist band.
The whole reason I gushed to try this new niche brand in the beginning was because I was sick and tired of the “triangle” ladies underwear. It cuts at all sides and digs into me no matter how loose the fit. The side seams were especially unsightly on my skin. The icky synthetic fabric itches and bunches. The stretch in the fabric wont stay in place. TomboyX solves all of the issues and save the day. I am covered and comfortable. No cutting corners or fabric. The 6” boxer checks all the boxes since day one. I can’t ask for more.”
