It’s soon as these dropped, I bought 4 pairs, and I’m glad I did! The new boyshort solved two problems that I had with the hipster version. One, they’re a higher rise, which is more comfortable for me and suits my style better. Two, no more underwear line! I would end up wearing hipster tucking underwear with a pair of regular boy shorts to hide the line a bit. No more! The tucking boyshort hugs the bottom of my butt, where it normally creases. It feels much more natural and comfortable.
A few other things to note:
-The front is double layer, which helps with sculpting.
-There’s a bit more fabric between the legs, which can help keep everything in place without getting pinched.
-These are versatile! You can just do a light tuck, or you can really strap it back. For me, it depends on the occasion and outfit.
My only criticism is that I would like for them to be even more high waisted, but I think that just personal preference. These are significantly more comfy than the hipster or bikini so I’m happy with it.
I’ve worn these all day at work, out hiking, at the beach, and I’m really surprised how comfortable they are. Best of all, I really like how I look when I’m wearing them.
