The result is very satisfying although yhere is a small gap between the plates and that makes it difficult to catch small amount of hair. It will need to be a big chunk of hair to grab it or you need to pressure with your fingers closer to the plates which mean that you strain your hand. Lastly, I haven’t figured out yet how to acieve a perfect curl. The result is always more of a wave.

Slowly getting the hang of the straightners as you have to hold them a certain way up and they are quite bulky. I'm not keen on the comb as it snags my hair sometimes so I'd prefer not to have one. I tried taking it off but the parts that it slots into still snags my hair. The other slight negative is that it takes longer to heat up and slightly longer to straighten my hair than my Cloud Nines and they are a bit too wide for my fringe. Saying all that, my hair feels so soft after use so with a bit more practice I think I'll love them. I bought them mainly to cause less damage to my hair which I'm hopeful of. To be perfect I'd make them slightly thinner with no comb
