The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use. However, the upgraded extruder shows an encased air supply system which enhances printing smoothness. It is an upgraded version of the Guider 1 nozzle ensuring better airflow and improved results. It handles bridging in a great way just like in the case of this great Eiffel tower. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints. Credit: @mikeberwig / instagram Unlike many FDM printers, the FlashForge Guider 2 has a removable heated print bed and closed print chamber, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials. The enclosure is made of an ultra-strong ABS material. It keeps the heat improving the printer performance with high-temperature filaments. ABS-made models are more durable and strong of the PLA ones. For this reason, this type of filaments is often adopted to produce functional parts and 3D printer upgrades. Very happy with the printer. Around 200 hours of printing to date and absolutely no issues. The Flashforge Guider II and Guider II S are the best printers in that price range. And much better than the Ender 3 which I instantly returned.
