Did not take me long to get the touch... three tries and bingo......temp 215, 180 seconds on my flowers. With or without bags, very rewarding to use. Fast delivery and good communications after the sale. I did spray some lubricant onto all pivot points and put light grease on the "push rod" at the guide. MUCH EASIER TO APPLY PRESSURE, also use a 3/4 dai ofc pipe to extend the lever. Good product and good seller. Good deal and Good night.

Works really well, I'm just a little disappointed on how I need pliers to loosen or tighten the pressure even when there's no force being exerted onto the plates, and if you re-press you have to change the height of the fully-clamped position again. I'm not exactly sure what makes it 850 pounds of pressure because it only locks once (doesn't lock at all until fully down) and it's according to how strong you are to push the plates together with material between. If you can't clamp it, then you need to loosen a little and try clamping again. It's a manual press, so I guess that's the trade-off, but I'm not sure where they get 850 from (a human can only press about 70 pounds of force down onto a lever, not including bodyweight so 850 seems like a lie). I do like the digital temperature and timers though. The only thing I don't know how to do is turn off the beeping once it reaches the desired temperature. I think turning on the timer is all that stops it, and the timer is only set to 90 seconds, you can't change it.

You really can’t beat this little press for the price. Good yields. Just be ready to use some elbow grease to get good pressures.
