“Black truffles are so delicious! I've ordered them a few times from TruffleHunter. The truffles always arrive quickly and the storage instructions are very easy to follow to make sure the truffles are kept in the best condition. As we haven't been able to go out for many months now, it is lovely to be able to have a wee treat! I used these in pasta, risotto, scrambled eggs and potato salad. There are some great recipes on the TruffleHunter website, and I've found others on YouTube that I will be trying. I may not be a famous French chef, but as we can't go out to restaurants at the moment, I've been able to have a go at creating some really lovely dishes at home.
One thing I like to do is to fry some slices of truffle in a mixture of butter and oil and then use them as a garnish. Great nutty flavour!”
