“Not the most pungent ever, but I ordered near the end of the season. They arrive in excellent physical condition and are beautifully clean. The dreaded scrubbing is not necessary. I will hope to order earlier in the season next year. This is my favourite variety of truffle. White truffles are great, but I find them coarse by comparison to these.”
