“The order process was efficient. The delivery was on time and as described. The cabin was readily erected and of excellent quality. In short it did everything it said on the tin so A++++. The best reference I can give is that I am just about to place another order for another cabin with TUIN. First class.”
“We are very pleased with our tuin max log cabin. It was delivered on time and it was very clear how it all went together despite the instructions being a bit sketchy.”
“We spent a long time trying to find a suitable summerhouse for our new garden and are so glad we chose Tuin. The support we received from Tuin was exceptional at all times. The delivery was very smooth with a very helpful driver. We found the videos very helpful with the various stages. The whole process including painting and adding guttering has taken one week. We would thoroughly recommend purchasing a building from Tuin.”
“Service from Tuin was first class. All the parts were present and intact. Assembly was largely trouble free. Only minor hiccup was that the roof boards were slightly larger than in the instructions and so there were fewer than on the inventory. However a quick phone call to Tuin clarified the situation. I have added two builders restraints to secure the roof and in fact the whole cabin to prevent lifting in the strong winds which are an occasional problem.”
“Generally not satisfied with the Max Log Cabin the major problem with it is the amount of movement at the front since it has been built I have had to adjust the door frame 3 times because I couldnt get the lock to work there is also excessive movement in the frame the right hand side at front of Cabin is twisted because of movement there is movement all around both window frames I have built this Cabin as per instructions and havent used any screws anywhere as advised I am very concerned that the structure wont withstand strong winds also the Cabin is sited on a very robust and perfectly level frame this frame is made with 6 x 2 wooden joists on top of many concrete butts I did enquire about the gaps around the door and windows when I was building the Cabin and was told this was for expansion but I still believe that the gaps are far too much which is allowing the excessive movement in my opinion there is no strength in the front structure of the Cabin and fear that there will be damage during gale force winds also the twisted side at front is very noticeable”
“I was really keen to purchase the Max cabin and after reading other reviews I decided to ask for a quote in 58mm logs as per one of the other reviewers. It took 3 weeks to get a quote that has come out at a price more than double and more than cabins that are much larger in size. It would be so much easier if you could just ring up Tuin and explain what you wanted - I had to send sketches and numerous emails even though I just wanted a slight variation (58mm rather than 28mm logs) of a standard model plus an extra window. No doubt this is a good product but they don't make it easy to tailor your order. Still hoping this can be sorted out. Thanks Jamie”
