“Excellent product, good thick stable logs, put it together with my son in 1 day then 1 more for the roof and shingles. Laid on a concrete slab with the tanalised foundation profiles - totally water tight, laid insulation then screed , fitted underfloor heating and tiled over this to make a year round electronics workshop and exercise area, insulated under the roof but i have yet to tongue and groove over this - very cosy and much reduced the heating cost in winter. I bought a 3m by 3m Peter cabin last year as a shed - also excellent value - i put this up in under 2 hrs with my son - but roof and shingles took me 2 days on my own, the tip is to use two people for the roof as you can't be at both ends of a plank at the same time and this makes it slow going - so get a mate. both look great in the garden - my wife painted then crazy colours.”

“The Tuin website stands out because of its ease of use and interest and cabins are very competitively priced. It was easy to compare models too as so much detail is offered. I chose the Parijs cabin because it is spacious enough for a studio. I added a large side window to improve the light. Ordering was straightforward and Karen was very helpful. Delivery was on the date I chose and the cabin arrives in a secure load. The driver phoned ahead and was punctual to the minute. He unloaded to the most convenient and safest location just outside my property and was gone in minutes. I arranged installation with someone from Tuin's recommended list and he gave good advice beforehand and 2 men completed the job in two days. Watching the cabin take shape was very exciting and unbelievably fast. I was so impressed with the quality of the materials and precision cutting of the logs which just slotted together effortlessly. The lengthiest part was in insulating the floor and roof, then applying the tiles. I used the impregnation fluid and then a preserving substance and have finished the set-up with laminate flooring, full electrics and a heat exchange system so that my cabin can be in use all year round. I love it so much I might just abandon the house altogether.”

“I have in the last year spent a lot of time researching log cabins and just couldn't find anywhere I would rather go than Tuin. For background I had previously shown the website to both my parents and in laws who both beat me to the actual purchasing of a log cabin. So by the time the Parijs arrived I had already put up 2 albeit smaller log cabins from Tuin. All the preparation has to go into the base. After this however the log cabin itself only took a day to put up including roof boards. I took another day to put up roof shingles. I also ordered an extra door to go into the back wall, and that was a hairy moment when I cut out the wood for the door and fitted the new door in. The shed is still as solid as it should be. It is now insulated floor and ceiling and has a bar built into the corner from spare materials. 5 stars isn't enough for the advice given both on the blog and from swift replies to questioning emails.11 out of 10 for the whole experience. The driver who dropped off the cabin was also very helpful and accommodating.”
