“This tar was recommended given its waterproofing ability and I have been very impressed in that it has certainly prevented water damage. I was expecting a thick bitumen type tar but was pleasantly surprised to find it was smooth and very easily applied, drying quickly and allowing for a 2nd coat within short period. 1 tin covered a large area and I found it to be extremely cost effective. Would recommend to others.”
“I echo the previous comments that a translation of the instructions would be useful. This treatment is very sticky but it gives a good finish to the wood and seems to be bitumen based - I have high hopes my decking frame that this has been applied to will remain weatherproofed for a decade easily!!”
“First time i have used it but wish i had known about it previously. Found it easy to apply, covers well and brushes cleaned easily. Used it on legs of wooden frame being readied for nottingham cabin, worked well during recent torrential rain preventing wood soaking up water. Intend to use it on sleepers to make raised beds plus other projects around the garden. Would recommend it to anyone. Just wish there was an english translation of what is on the tin, possibly in leaflet form”
