“1. Quality of the product 7/10- as with another review I too had split posts and whilst I understand the nature of wood and how it can split, I feel the quality control of the outgoing order was not good enough. I suspect it was only checked prior to packaging. Other than that the materials and construction are sturdy. 2. Product information 1/10 I tried to obtain detailed drawings as I was having a concrete base and block retaining wall to support the base some 900mm off the ground level, therefore it was critical that the reinforced extended bases for the post were in the correct position. I sent emails and phoned but I was met with a very poor service indeed. No one knew how far apart the roof joists should be spaced and I was told that they could be placed anywhere on the supporting 4x2inch (100 x 50mm)timber support, which of course is total nonsense for two reasons. 1. The supporting timbers are joined at 3metres and therefore need a joist underneath and the roof lathes were exactly 2metres in length requiring the joists to be positioned to the millimetre. By not giving me the information I was not able to fit the gallows brackets at either end of the structure, rendering the entire structure slightly weaker than it should be. n.b. The product information sheet that came was totally waterlogged but was not good as it had no measurements at all. Tuin webpage had no measurements on it either. 3. Delivery 10/10 excellent communication and delivery was prompt and the company and driver accommodated my requests.”
