“Thank you for supplying an excellent product. I emailed a number of times asking questions before placing an order. The helpfulness and speed of response was first class. I was informed as to when the delivery would take place and the driver (Martin) was so efficient the product was off loaded and put in the required position with ease. I was daunted at first when I saw the amount of timber but the helpful instructiions and youtube clips were of great assistance. The structure was up and ready to put the shingles on in 2 days. There were a couple of items that were not explained well. the gables were pre assembled but it did not say that they had to be dis assembled in order to construct the roof and some of the minor items, ie trims etc were not covered in the instructions. It is a great product and I have had many comments on how sturdy and solid the building is. I have and will continue to recommend Tuin as I believe it is a first class product backed by a first class company. Thank you.”
“1st I must say we love our cabin ! It came on the day it was booked for the driver was brilliant all the components were all there it took me 5 days on my own to build but I went on the website with anything I was struggling with and my problems were solved all in all if you take your time and have patience any project even a log cabin will be ok in the end ! “Having never built anything like this in my life I was slightly uneasy about how it would go, but once arrived (which it did on time as per date quoted) it was remarkably straight forward to put up! I had the main outer shell put up on the same day it had arrived, mostly by myself with a little help from my kids. Putting the roof beams in was a little trickier and you definitely need help with this! But still simple enough. My only wee niggle is the instructions are a little vague/basic but any worries/problems just email them and every time I got a reply back almost instantaneously! An excellent service all round and would highly recommend and will definitely use again. Thanks again for this great well put together product.”
“The actual kit was both very accurate and easy to construct. The only problem was that I ordered the thicker t & g floorboarding which was not of uniformed width and I had to make adjustments to getting it looking correct. I am an apprentice trained carpenter and I think a diy purchaser would have struggled with the flooring but not with the structure”
“The purchase of a log cabin was not high on my agenda but after seeing the quality of a friends I was sold. The ordering was simple, the transport company very helpful and the finished Johan far exceeds my expectations. My son took on the project from digging foundations through to installing electrics. I have chosen to keep the outside natural wood colour, three coats of a clear protective product, and used the coloured protective stain supplied on the floor, which looks good. I have not enclosed pictures as the landscaping is not quite finished but can only say I am totally delighted with the finished product although the whole project has turned out more expensive than I originally thought. I know I will enjoy using it for many years.”
“Ordered my log cabin a week or so into lockdown, delivery was as stated with no delays. The shell and roof were erected quickly, it has now become a pub shed / home office. Would highly recommend just wish I had bought one years ago.”
“After searching local garden building manufactures and viewing many online firms we ordered a Johan log cabin from Tuin after reading the reviews of satisfied customers and looking at the quality and finish of the build. It was delivered exactly as stated and placed on our drive expertly. The build went together well and every joint slotted in nicely, with the help of my wife ( being a joiner helped) but the last top log was a head scratcher having a cut out but nothing to slot in... but then found out the upright support pole covers this slot. I would recommend Tuin (already have, neighbours ordered one) but wish the roof boards were a little thicker though.”
