Is there a limit to the number of panels that can be joined together?
There are limitless combinations of mat lengths and widths as each mat comes with 2 sides of Hook Velcro Flaps.
Can the mat be folded when not in use as a typical panel mat?
If you'd like to store your Build-a-Mat, separate the pieces and stack them one on top of the other.
What reason would someone want the carpet version of the Build a Mat?
The carpet version is great for adding Velcro manipulatives like Tumbl Trak hands and feet or Velcro numbers to help teach skills.
If a panel is not connected to another panel, will the flap scratch me?
We've designed the Velcro flap to fold closed when it is not needed, or not in use. See the photo insert above.
How can I clean the vinyl on the mat?
Gentle cleaners work well to wipe down the mat.
How do I clean the carpet version of the Build-a-Mat?
This mat can be vacuumed easily.
Is the carpet version slippery to tumble on?
The carpet version is similar to a gymnastics floor exercise surface. Testers have not reported it to be any more slippery.
