Sorry for the delay, somehow this email got sent to junk mail and I accidently found it. I’m an 81 yr old female and I installed this by my self in about 4 hrs. The instructions are excellent. I’m only getting 2 bars, but have really good results even so, in fact when my WiFi went out in a rain storm I still got everything on my phone. The main reason I wanted this was to be able to talk with no really bad delay, and it solved that problem. I’m still tweeting to get more bars, but 2 will work if I can’t.

The product worked better then expected. I was getting zero to one-bar inside the house. Now I’m getting up to the full four bars ( near the inside antenna). Am extremely happy. Hookup is extremely easy. Placement of the outside antenna was easy also. Used an exhaust pipe (on roof) to mount the antenna with the included brackets. *Smile*

There’s no question this does improve the signal, even dramatically, but I can’t give 5 stars. The line, “Your mileage may vary” applies to this, as I have discovered that interior walls and floors—how they’re arranged and materials used—have a huge impact on signal. I also find that if I want to optimize for one work area over another, I have to change the interior antenna’s aim. It also is not necessarily easy to install the whole system (and more importantly, to optimize it), again due to how one’s home is built and arranged. I’m handy (I built my own home) and this project took probably 8 to 10 hours.

I ordered a Home Multiroom Signal Booster for our 5th wheel at the farm (work from home orders during Covid19). We are about 10 miles from the nearest cell tower and on a small rise (about 20' high). We have a signal that varies from -115 dB to -125 dB. After installing the booster we run between -95 DB to -110 dB. I can now conduct video conference calls reliably. It was easy to install and get working. While the signal is much improved I did not get as much boost as I had hoped. However, the improvement is enough to make it worth the investment.
